Webinar GoSafe with ESI España
In June 2021 GoSafe with ESI Spain team presented its webinar “Guarantee of savings in PV self-consumption projects”.
The webinar was held in Spanish, and it is available now with subtitles in Italian/Portuguese. The webinar presents the first application in Spain of the Energy Saving Insurance (ESI) model in an industrial project within the self-consumption photovoltaic sector.
The webinar involved panelists that represent all relevant stakeholders that are part of the application of the model. In addition to GoSafe with ESI team, represented by Gerardo Rodríguez, Technical Director of EnergyLab and Pablo Osés, business developer at Base, we also had the participation of Ángel Rodríguez, head of the Environment division of SGS, which acts as a verifying entity in this project. During the webinar he presented the characteristics of the verification of the project in the context of photovoltaic self-consumption.
From the side of the insurance company, we had the participation of Miguel Angel Medina, Deputy Director of Surety Bond at CRÉDITO Y CAUCIÓN, the collaborating company of GoSafe with ESI in this project and one of the leading companies in the surety insurance sector. Miguel Ángel introduced us to the operative of the surety insurance and how it relates with the standardized GoSafe with ESI contract that we are proposing.
From the perspective of financial institutions, Enrique Marticorena, head of Private Agreements at ABANCA introduced to us the activity of the Bank in Spain and Portugal, two of the markets of GoSafe with ESI. Moreover he shared with us the point of view of the financial institutions about the Energy Savings Insurance scheme, and introduced the collaboration agreement between ABANCA and GoSafe with ESI for the financing of energy efficiency projects (if you want to know more about this agreement click here).
Finally, Javier Becerra, Business Development Manager at QUANTUM ENERGÍA VERDE gave us his perspective on GoSafe with ESI as a specialist in photovoltaic self-consumption solutions, he shared his knowledge of this market and how the value proposition of GoSafe with ESI complements their offers and projects.
