The validation process of GoSafe with ESI has been developed to build trust and provide certainty of the technical aspects of the energy efficiency project to clients, insurance companies and financial institutions.

The main characteristics of the validation process are:

It is conducted by an independent technical validation entity.
The technology-based methodology for the evaluation of the projects is based on Option A – Methodology of the IPMVP® protocol
The energy savings guaranteed by the technology provider are validated by the validation entity after contract signature. This is a requirement to activate the contract.
The installation of the energy efficient project is validated after the equipment is installed and ready to start operation.
The validation entity carries out an arbitration process in case of disagreement between the technology provider and client on the annual reports of the energy savings achieved, to mediate and clarify if compensation is required. The validation is necessary for triggering the insurance claim.
